Yakuza やくざ Nail Art

This nail art was supposed to be my entry for the Nail that Art Toe Nail Art Contest.
I thought of a design that has never been on the youtube or other blogs.. I went to the Deviant Art to look for a design and then I saw this picture..

I'm in love with this drawing. I would love this design for me to have on my skin. If only I could get a tattoo.

~o~o~o~

I applied Cutex Indie glow to all my toes. I love this shade it has a sort of a holo effect. I really love it.

I used a Nail Star black nail art pen to draw the details of the dragon's face.

As you can see, i already painted the whole face of the dragon. Its fangs.. Hehe!

I painted the dragon's body on the rest of my nails.. So this is how it basically looked like after I finished it.

On my left foot, I painted a Japanese coi. I painted the coi's face on my left foot's hallux. The coi's face was perfectly painted but the body was an epic fail!

I wasn't able to finish it...BUT, I'll do this again next time. I won't give up.

Bad Experience

GRRRRRRR!

Our client had a hearing on Pasay City last Friday. I asked my partner if we could go to Market Market after the hearing since it's in the route that we're taking. He said yes.

I was really excited because I was looking forward to buy plates. I was going to my friend's nail art store but I couldn't find it. To my depression, I went to look around and I found another store that sells nail art supplies.

I was surprised to see this store. I saw this particular store before.
There are no varieties of whatsoever.. :( No wonder why their branch in Araneta Center Cubao and Robinson's Metro East closed. They don't have nice plates. Actually, they only have one plate.

These ladies ignored me at first. I was standing there for like 100 years before they accommodate me. They were busy with the other customer who was holding a 1000 peso bill. They were going crazy over her. Hehe but it really sucked for them because the lady ended up buying only one polish that worth 80 pesos.

It doesn't need to take the both of them to accommodate one customer. Right?

My turn..

As I was saying awhile ago, they don't have much. Most of their products are overpriced second rate polishes. Who would buy that? Stupid people like me! GRRRRRR! The sales ladies doesn't know much about sales talk. They just stood there and forced me to buy their one and only effin plate. I'm sorry but was so pissed.

The pic above are the products I bought from them. I'm not happy because these are not the products that I expected myself to buy. I bought them so that the time and the effort that I exerted just to go there won't be wasted.

I decided to buy some stuff and I never thought that this store will burn my money. I spent Php 440.00 for four second rate items. GRRRRR!

I'm not a cheapskate. I just hate spending on stuff that are overpriced or NOT WORTH IT!

I bought this stupid swatch board for 80 pesos which I found out that it should only costs 25 pesos.

These are fimo slices. I payed 200 pesos for this. Each containers has ten fimo slices. Do you think I payed much for this? What do you think? I have no idea. All I know is that, it's a little pricey.

These polishes are for designing. I bought them because I thought they have thin brushes. I was so angry to find out that the other one has regular brush on it. Tsssss! Those sales ladies told me that both polishes have thin brushes. I should've opened it in front of them!

Sigh..

As I was ranting my experience on Nail that Art, some girls told me that these items are really expensive. I was really mad thinking about the way those ladies treated me and the overpriced items that I bought. Bianca calmed me down. She explained to me the seller's side. She told me that the seller has to pay for the rent, the employees and the tax. Well, I think she's right  but as a consumer I exerted effort too.

I think I wasted my precious time going to that flop store. My gasoline was wasted. My effort was wasted.
I'm not happy.

LESSON LEARNED:
1. Don't buy nail stuff at some unrecognized store because they don't have customers. They're like hungry vultures and you are the prey. Once they get you, they'll finish you up in an instant.

2. Just order online. Products are the same but the prices are cheaper. You can order as much as you want. Shipping fees are so cheap anyways. No sweat! If you go to a store, you have to spend money for your car's gasoline, you have to look all over the mall just to find the damn store you're looking for and because you got tired, you have to eat at a restaurant or a fast food chain..
BURN BURN BURN.

3. Accredited online sellers are polite. They will entertain you and never will they force you to buy things from their online shops. Some sales ladies doesn't have good morals and right conduct. Just like what I experienced...

I asked one of them if they have any plates. She ignored me. I asked the other sales lady. She ignored me too. I asked them for several times. My hubby was not there at that time because he went to get a soda. I stood there for like 15 minutes. As I waited patiently, I observed that the other customer was choosing ten polishes. The customer told them, "Etong isa kukunin ko. (I'll get this one.)", LMFAO! The sales ladies may have thought that the customer will buy ten polishes that she chose to look at. It really sucked big time for them haha. They ignored me for a customer who bought a polish worth 80 pesos! They turned to me and suddenly became nice. Earlier, those sales ladies were frowning at me. Maybe they thought that I don't have any money because I'm young and I wore a ragged outfit. When my hubby suddenly came in, the sales ladies were like worshiping me! My hubby was wearing a coat and tie because we just came from a court hearing of his client. Maybe, it came to their senses that I have a rich husband and that I can afford to buy their product. Tsssss... Those ladies are bigots. They shouldn't profile or judge a customer based on what they wear or  how they look like. Also, those sales ladies were forcing me to buy their ugly plate too. Man! They were so desperate.

4. I will never come back to that store ever again!

Water Marble Fever

I wish my water marble is as pretty as this pic that I took online..
~o~
I have no idea who started the water marbling. She must be so patient! Doing a water marble is so complicated. The very first time I tried, it was a failure.

This picture was my first attempt. I already had a sea green nail polish. It has been my manicure for 4 days so I decided to jazz it up by doing a water marble. I thought it was easy...... I was wrong. I put all my effort just to get a perfect water marble but I still failed. I'm really at my wits end. :-(

Yesterday, I tried to do the water marble again. I was hoping that it will turn out good because I'll be using fake nails. The pictures below are the outcome..

Left

As you noticed, there are only four nails in the picture. These are the index, middle, ring and pinky. I don't like  the thumb nail's marble that's why I threw it. So mad..

The Right

What's missing?
~o~o~o~

Okay.. I'm going to make another water marble to completes the fingernails..

I applied a basecoat for the left hand's thumbnail and for the right hand's index and middle finger.

I dropped the polish carefully and  tapped the cup so that the polish will spread.

I quickly dragged the polish using a toothpick to create a design.

This is how they look like. I love the design I made. :-) I'm really happy.

This is the product I used for this water marble mail art.

Angry Birds Nail Art

I love Angry Birds but this game is giving me a headache. I just can't beat those cute pigs. Haha! I think I like them more than I like the birds. They are cuter.

It sucks! I placed the index nail to the middle finger :( and the middle nail was placed on the index finger!
I hate myself. I had no time to fix it because I was in a hurry awhile ago and the glue started to dry.

GRRRRRRR! >:-(

My other hand is perfect. I placed the nails correctly. :)

Nice piggies!

Other pics...

Tapos!

Porcelain Doll: Gianna

Hey goddesses! I just wanna show you the doll that my partner bought me. He he he. For those of you who still don't know, I'm a 24 years old woman that fancies dolls. Yup! I love dolls.. Especially the creepy ones. The reason why I like dolls, maybe because they remind me of my childhood.

My mom bought me expensive Barbie Dolls. I really admire her for making me a happy kid. We're lucky to have such a great mom. Our father died when I was 3, my brother was just a baby then. Life was hard since it was just my mom who was taking care of all our needs. We never received any help from my grandparents. My mom was in dire straits but my brother and I were never deprived.

Right now it is my beloved partner who's taking care of me. Just like my mom, he's making me happy too. He's giving me anything I want and need.

Anyway, enough of the drama anthology..
Here's Gianna

Gianna is wearing a white wedding gown and a lace veil. She's also wearing a white bloomer, white socks and a white shoes. Gianna's holding a bouquet of flowers on her right hand.

The Details

Shoes - it's a white synthetic leather and has a rubber sole. I kinda like the way they made the shoes but the strings are too long.

Bouquet - I'm not really sure about the kind of flowers she's holding. It looks like a pink tulip and the little purple flowers look like a baby's breath.

Dress - I'm not a fan of her dress. I think it was poorly designed. The only thing I like about her dress are the flowers and pearls on each sides.

Veil - She can wear her veil in 2 different ways. I also love the design on top of the veil. So cute!

Head - The face looks real.. She has a glass eyes and her locks is made out of goats hair.. She has real eyelashes too.. I love the way her lips are painted.. Her cheeks are sooo rosy too.

Limbs - Her Limbs are porcelain too. I'm sorry I wasn't able to get some pictures. She also wears a bloomer.

Oh My Savannah!

Hello godesses!
I just wanna share this pic to you. Remember my

I love the designs I made and I'm really happy that I'm able to wear them at work awhile ago. People noticed my nail art. Most of the thought that I didn't do this myself and some thought that the designs were stickers. Haha funny.. >_< That kinda sucks. Maybe they think that I'm not that talented and it's impossible for me do such obra maestra.

LOLZ to them.. They're just jealous.

:-)
