Tiara Inspired Toe Nail Art

Nail that Art 

held a contest this month and I decided to join it. I never had any experience regarding nail art contest.

This was actually my very first time to join. 

I promised my friend Bianca that I'll join the contest. I really had a very busy schedule. I almost gave up joining the contest because I don't have that much time for myself. I was really stressed. I thought I won't be able to join. The design that I first chose was really complicated and was hard to do..

I slept late because of that design. The next morning Bianca announced that the submission of entries will be extended for 3 days. I was really happy to learn that but just like what I've said I was busy. The design that i first did wore off already.

That's why I ended up doing this..

This design was inspired by Ms Universe Beauty Pageant. I made a design that looks like a crown. 

I used gold micro beads for this design.

 

Yesterday I found out that they already chose the winners. 

Too bad for me because I lost.

:-(

I felt really bad about it but at least I tried my best. I really want to win but i guess it's not my time yet. I'm happy for the winners though.

I'm sad because I lost but I'm happy because I tried my best and I didn't gave up when I was about to.

I love the designs I made and I'm really happy that I'm able to wear them at work awhile ago. People noticed my nail art. Most of the thought that I didn't do this myself and some thought that the designs were stickers. Haha funny.. >_< That kinda sucks. Maybe they think that I'm not that talented and it's impossible for me do such obra maestra.

LOLZ to them.. They're just jealous.

Pirates Nail Art

Hi godesess! I just want to share this little story. I was posting on a group page on facebook a day ago and I found out that one of the member is a guy. He's from Romania. He was asking for an idea on what to do for his next nail art. So, I told him to do a pirate nail art. Anyway, since my nails are shorter than before, I'm gonna show you a nail art that I did. I was inspired by the pirates which I told the Romanian guy to do on his nails.

BTW, the black nail polish that I used as a background was a third day nail polish.

Ready?

I'm going to show you the what I did to the thumb (only). The design on my thumb is more complicated than the rest. So, here it is..

I combined a regular white nail polish and a brown nail polish. I used the combined color for this oblong shape.

I drew 2 circles. One should be bigger than the other. A triangle at the middle of the two circles. or the mouth part, I drew a horizontal line followed by 4 short vertical lines. As you can see, it's not oblong anymore, it's because i shaped the design using a nail art pen.

We shouldn't forget the red bandana! :-)

this is the reason why the other circle is bigger than the other one. We have to make an eyepatch to make the design more pirate looking..

The thumb is done!

The following are the designs for the rest of the figernails.

For the index finger, I used a brown nail polish to draw a chest. I also used a black nail art pen to highlight  it. For the gold inside the chest, I used a gold polish and a dotting tool to create dots on top of the chest. To make it more realistic, I added a gold micro beads.

For the middle fingernail, I used a silver polish and a dotting tool to create a necklace design. I also used a red rhinestone as a pendant.

For the ring finger, I thought it would be better if the design is an engagement ring. This design was inspired by J. Lo's engagement ring from Ben Affleck. Oh, that was a long time ago. Anyway, I used a gold nail polish and painted a small circle on top of the nail. I also used a pink rhinestone, it will serve as the "pink diamond" just like J. Lo's..

Last but not the least, the pinky. I used a sapphire blue and an emerald green for this. I used dotting tool to create a small gems using those nail polishes that I mentioned.

Michael Jackson Nail Art

Happy Birthday MJ!

This nail art is dedicated to my idol.

On my previous blog about my new haircut, you saw Glecy again for the second time.. Hehe, I hope she'll be a regular guest here on my blog. Anyway, she's a Michael Jackson fan too. I'm sure she's on her way to MJ's Birthday celebration right about now (there are lots of MJ fans here in the Philippines). He died but his fame and memories still lives. 

There's an event today for MJ and I designed a Michael Jackson Nail Art for Glecy. She said that other MJ fans will be jealous of her, hahaha!

At home...

Glecy had a hard time removing the nail polish that I used (last week) for her nail art. Hehe. 

 

She did the cleaning.  

 

I painted her nails alternately..

Thumb: Gold BG, "This is it", blue rhinestones at the tip.

Index: Black BG, "Bad" in red underlined lettering.

Middle: White BG, MJ's silhouette.

 Ring: Silver BG, black MJ leterring, silver glitters.

Pinky: Red BG, Jacko's jacket design on "Thriller".

Pink and Yellow Inspired Nail Art

I saw this cute little flowers growing in our garden. I don't know its name. If you do, please tell me 'coz I'm dying to know..

This flower inspired me to make a super girly nail art. I know that every girls will like this nail art as much as I do. I already uploaded a picture regarding this nail art. My girlfriends love it!

Officially A Relic Hunter!

Oh my effin' G!

I'm really excite to share this to you girls. I just found a very cute design for nail arts. It's like a diamond but it's not. It has different shapes but with the same color. Anyway, I bought 2 shapes and I'm loving it even if I haven't used them. Haha!

I'm thinking about using them in my own version of Arabian Nights Nail Art.

Aside from its elegant design, it only costs Php 24.95!

I can't wait to use this stuff on my nail art tutorials.

Evergreen

I'm so much in love with the color GREEN. It's so cool in the eyes. Most of my stuff are color green. I'm lucky because the place where I live has plants and trees everywhere. Antipolo City is a group of hills. My house is on top of the hill. Our streets are like forest. There are lots of birds here. I love the butterflies too. Every morning I hear the birds chirping and I see the butterflies flying around the flowers in our garden.

This pic was taken at Cloud 9. It's near my house!!!

Anyway, I have a friend that shares the same interests with me. We have the same taste! Haha.. Her name is Glecy. Just like me, she loves the color green! 

I wasn't able to take a pic of the step by step procedure on how I achieved this nail art. Anyway, the pictures below are the finished look.

Rocker Chic Nail Art

I love a rocker chic style. Pink and black compliment each other. I'm going to show you a Nail Art inspired by a Rocker Chic. I often see tutorials on YouTube that uses pink and black nail polish. 

First of all, I just wanna tell you guys that I never thought that this Rocker Chic nail art would be successful. This was my first attempt and I'm happy with what I've finished.

Let's Begin.

I applied a base coat to protect my nails. To my LEFT hand, I painted my thumb, index and middle fingernails pink. I painted black on my ring and pinky fingernail. Do the same on your RIGHT but it should be vice verza.

Make a French tip to your index and pinky. If your polish is pink, make a black French tip.. Vice verza.

---

Draw a heart on your thumb.

---

Do the same thing on your middle fingernail. Make a dots on the rest of the nails. (Index - the dots should be on the French tip. Ring - make a dots that looks like a cross. Pinky - dots should be on the lower portion.

Put a rhinestones to your French tip, at the sides of the heart on your middle fingernails and put the rhinestone to the dots that you made on your ring fingernails.

---

To your thumb, put rhinestones all over the heart shape.

Simple White Flower Nail Art

I love my new LUCIDarlinng Fantastic nails by Etude House. I think it looks good as it is. Very elegant. it's perfect for any occasion. It's an eye catcher. Knowing myself, I knew that no matter how much pretty as it is, I 'm still gonna make a nail art to my perfectly polished nails.

As you can see on the picture above, my ring fingernails was already worn out.

I re-applied another coat.

I used a dotting tool and a platinum white nail polish to create petals.

I swept the wet nail polish towards the center to create a 3D effect

Then I applied a top coat and a quick dry.

Then I added a yellow rhinestone at the center of the petals.

Now it's done. See, I told you.. It's really easy to do. It made my nails cuter.

I love the simplicity of it.

Domo-kun Nail Art

I'm so in love with Domo-kun. In fact, I have some Domo-kun pillows and bags. It was a gift from a love one.  Hee hee. Anyway, I'm going to show you guys how I did this nail art inspired by one of my favorite characters.

Let's begin.

I'm going to show you first how I did Domo-kun's face on my thumb.

Apply a nail hardener as a base coat. Then Apply a brown nail polish on your thumb. I used  Petite Nails by Etude House.

Draw a rectangle using a red nail art pen or use a thin brush. I used a red Nail Star two way nail art pen.

Draw 4 fangs using a white nail polish. Again, you can use a nail art pen or a thin brush.

Get a black rhinestone and put it at the upper side portions of the mouth. The rhinestones will serve as Domo's eyes.

This is how it should look like. :-)

Now, we're going to do the designs for the remaining nails.

Apply a red nail polish to your index finger. I used Ruby Red by San San.

Make a french tip on your middle finger using a black nail art pen or a balck polish with thin brush.

Apply a white nail polish on your ring finger.

Make a french tip on your pinky using a brown nail polish.

This is how it should look  like.

Index - Use a dotting tool make dots all over your index finger using a white nail polish. 

Middle - Make a straight line at the center of your nails overlapping the black French tip and put a white rhinestone at the center of the line.

Ring - Create a dots at the center of the nail upwards (diagonal). Make another dots at the edge of the nail. Use red nail polish.

Pinky - Make a straight line at the center using a white nail polish overlapping the brown French tip ang put red rhinestone at the center of the line.

You can now enjoy your Domo-kun nail Art!
