Make Up without Make Up

I love make up! Who doesn't? Even though I'm addicted to nail polishes/art, I will never forget my passion in make up.

I wanna show you the make up I wore yesterday at work. Since it was daytime, what I did to my look was wearing a make up as if nothing is on.. Natural Look.

Here it is...

I applied a light brown eyeshadow all over my lids.

The I drew a line on my lashline using a black pencil.

For my cheeks, I used a tangerine blush on. The lights took away the color but it's really nice.

I used Nichido in Apple Cider shade. Isn't it nice?

For the finished look...

Ovarian Cancer Awareness

I saw a post regarding the Ovarian Cancer Awareness on http://www.midnightmanicures.com/. I felt bad because I thought I'm not gonna be able to support this. So I'm happy to know that I can still post my nails as a support to this  awareness..

:-)

I love the color.. It suites me very well. Hehe.

My teal toes looks lighter on this pic. Maybe because of the lights.

Let's save lives. Now, it's your turn to pose a pic wearing teal nails as a support to this Ovarian Cancer Awareness.

Living Dead Doll Nail Art (Savannah)

Living Dead Doll : Savannah
Light a candle but once a year
and speak the name Savannah dear,
Before your eyes it will appear
her painted face so full of fear.
~o~o~o~

Okay. Enough of the creepy introduction. He he he! I know it's really uncanny but I love "The Living Dead Dolls". I'm actually planning to make my own creepy doll. Sigh, it will happen someday but for now I'm gonna show you a nail art inspired by my Living Dead Doll, Savannah.

Here it is..

Living Dead Doll: Savannah Nail Art
Let's look closely..

The Thumb
I painted it white just like Savannah's pasty white skin. I also drew a spiders web because Savannah has a spider's web face paint on her cheeks. The yellow rhinestones was also inspired by the yellow dots around her forehead.

The Index

The Index nail was inspired by Savannah's long grey lace dress. I did not use stamp for this design. I hand painted it and I also added some crystal clear micro beads so that it will look more edgy.

The Middle

This design looks easy but it's not. I really ran out of idea about this one. Anyway, in this design I was inspired by Savannah's red hair and her black bandana that she's wearing all over her shoulder.

The Ring

OMG! This is my favorite of all the Savannah Nail Art. I love it. This design was inspired by the flaming heart that is painted on her forehead.

The Pinky

Savannah's eyes are so intense and creepy. She has a huge green eyes. Her eyes are also painted with light and dark blue.

~o~o~o~

I hope you like this creepy nail art.

Disclaimer: The portrait of Savannah (see at the top portion) came from
I don't own the first picture.

The Big Bad Wolf's Make Up

Hey godesses! I'm gonna show you the make up that I did for the pictures of my blog's header.

~o~0~o~

I already put some primer after I exfoliated. I also applied my Maybelline 8-in-1 BB Cream as my base.

I use a cream eye shadow and I applied it all over my lids.

For the next step, I used a very light purple and I applied in on the inner and center of my lid.

A darker shade of purple for the outer crease going to the center.

This is my favorite part.. I applied a black eyeshadow overlapping the darker shade of purple.
WAAAAAAAH! I love the effect!

I used the light purple again for the lower part of the eye..

I drew two wings on the outer part of the eye. This was inspired by the Egyptian Make Up.
Sooo gorgeous!

Who would forget about the falsies? Right? I love falsies..

Let's see the finished look!

The Big Bad Wolf's Confusion.. HELP!

Hello godesses!
Yesterday, I changed the template of my blog. I'm loving it! I love the colors, but the problem is that I don't like my header. I wanna change it. So, I had an idea. I'm going to put a picture of my eyes on it. In order for me to do that, I should put on a make up that will complement the colors on my new template..

Pirates Nail Art

Hi godesess! I just want to share this little story. I was posting on a group page on facebook a day ago and I found out that one of the member is a guy. He's from Romania. He was asking for an idea on what to do for his next nail art. So, I told him to do a pirate nail art. Anyway, since my nails are shorter than before, I'm gonna show you a nail art that I did. I was inspired by the pirates which I told the Romanian guy to do on his nails.

BTW, the black nail polish that I used as a background was a third day nail polish.

Ready?
I'm going to show you the what I did to the thumb (only). The design on my thumb is more complicated than the rest. So, here it is..

I combined a regular white nail polish and a brown nail polish. I used the combined color for this oblong shape.

I drew 2 circles. One should be bigger than the other. A triangle at the middle of the two circles. or the mouth part, I drew a horizontal line followed by 4 short vertical lines. As you can see, it's not oblong anymore, it's because i shaped the design using a nail art pen.

We shouldn't forget the red bandana! :-)

this is the reason why the other circle is bigger than the other one. We have to make an eyepatch to make the design more pirate looking..

The thumb is done!
The following are the designs for the rest of the figernails.

For the index finger, I used a brown nail polish to draw a chest. I also used a black nail art pen to highlight  it. For the gold inside the chest, I used a gold polish and a dotting tool to create dots on top of the chest. To make it more realistic, I added a gold micro beads.

For the middle fingernail, I used a silver polish and a dotting tool to create a necklace design. I also used a red rhinestone as a pendant.

For the ring finger, I thought it would be better if the design is an engagement ring. This design was inspired by J. Lo's engagement ring from Ben Affleck. Oh, that was a long time ago. Anyway, I used a gold nail polish and painted a small circle on top of the nail. I also used a pink rhinestone, it will serve as the "pink diamond" just like J. Lo's..

Last but not the least, the pinky. I used a sapphire blue and an emerald green for this. I used dotting tool to create a small gems using those nail polishes that I mentioned.

:-)

Now it's done!

I hope you'll love it..
